ISOLA ROSSA – LA MARINEDDA

ISOLA ROSSA – LA MARINEDDA

La Marinedda beach is bordered to the north by the Punta li Canneddi promontory, it is a wide beach of medium-fine and white sand, clear water with shallow and sandy bottoms. Isola rossa takes its name due to the porphyritic nature of the rocks which turn red during the sunset. The rocks of the island, which in the rest of the northern coast of Sardinia have a warm tone of grays and golden yellows, instead take on blood tones enhanced by the contrast with the sea and the fading of the lights over the course of the day.
